Crossgrip PVC keeps productivity levels high
With more than 3000 shift workers working on a busy production line, Jaguar Land Rover needed a heavy-duty matting solution to keep them fatigue-free and safe from slips.
The problem
In 2012, Jaguar Land Rover’s Evoque and Freelander models experienced such a surge in popularity that management decided to jump up to a 24-hour production cycle at their Liverpool site. Practically, this meant a 30 per cent increase in the site’s workforce to accommodate three shifts a day rather than two. With production line safety more critical than ever, Jaguar Land Rover started searching for an anti-fatigue, slip-resistant mat that could be quickly installed along the entire length of a car production line.

The solution
Minimal disruption to the new 24-hour production cycle was of utmost importance, so the matting needed to be quick and easy to install.
